Gundemar makes one expedition against the Basques, according to Isidore of Seville, then besieges the imperial forces in southern Spania in the next, taking more of coastal Spain from Constantinople in 612.
He dies a natural death in Toledo, probably in February or March 612.
The Chronica Regum Visigotthorum records that Gundemar reigned for one year, ten months and fourteen days.
He is succeeded by Sisebut.
