Tancred, after Baldwin has moved on to rejoin the main Crusading army in 1098, requests the assistance of Guynemer in taking Alexandretta, which is held by the Turks.
With Baldwin out of the region, Guynemer consents and together they capture the city.
At the Siege of Antioch, Guynemer briefly holds Latakia.
