Francisco Xerez or Francisco de Jerez (1495 in Seville, Spain – 1565?)
is a Spanish explorer-turned-historian, the personal secretary of conquistador Francisco Pizarro.
He participates in the conquest of Peru during the first two unsuccessful expeditions led by Pizarro, Diego de Almagro and Hernando de Luque in 1524.
He does not remain with the conquistadors later known as the Famous Thirteen on the Isla de Gallo in 1527.
