John Perrot

English politician; Lord Deputy of Ireland

Sir John Perrot (November 1528 – 3 November 1592) serves as Lord Deputy of Ireland under Queen Elizabeth I of England during the Tudor reconquest of Ireland.

He is alleged to have been the son of King Henry VIII of England, in an account written by Sir Robert Naunton, who had married Sir John's granddaughter, Penelope.
