Fakhr al-Mulk, after the Battle of Harran,…
September 1104 CE
Fakhr al-Mulk, after the Battle of Harran, had asked Sokman, the former Artuqid governor of Jerusalem, to intervene in the Siege of Tripoli; Sokman had marched into Syria but is forced to return home.
Fakhr al-Mulk then attacks Mons Peregrinus in September, 1104, killing many of the Franks and burning down one wing of the fortress.
